The device for holding a slider (S) during the threading of a slide fastener chain has a slider holder (1) and an pinion (33) for moving the slider holder on its vertical axis. The pinion is connected to the slider holder, and a rack (36) which operatively engages the pinion. A transfer device (31) is also provided, which moves the slider holder between a position where it receives and holds the slider and a position in which the slide fastener chain is threaded through the slider. The transfer devide is an air cylinder (31) which has a piston rod (31a) connected to the slider holder. It also has a connecting shaft (30) which connects the pinion and the transfer device. |
