发明名称 CONTROLLER FOR LASER BEAM MACHINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of defective laser beam machining due to deviation of focus of a laser beam by measuring the distance between a laser beam irradiation means and a work to adjust a focus position and starting laser beam machining based on its adjustment completing signal. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam outputted from a laser beam oscillator 1 is projected on the work and the work is relatively moved by a driving device 2 with respect to the laser beam to machine the work. With the title laser beam machine, the distance between the laser beam irradiation means and the work is measured by a distance sensor 4a and a comparator 4c compares this measured value with a set value from a focus setter 4b to set the focus at the prescribed focus position. The relative movement of the above-mentioned work is controlled corresponding to the irradiation of the laser beam to machine the work to a prescribed working shape. With this controller, the completion of focus adjustment by the above-mentioned focus adjuster 4 is detected by a focus adjustment completion detector 5 such as a distance measurement means and a timer. Based on this detected signal, the above-mentioned work is machined by a control means such as a CPU8.
