<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reproducing direction switching operation of a tape recorder from being performed wrongly at the time of the rewinding operation by displacing a gear for controlling switching to be used for switching the reproducing direction to a position where the gear is not engaged with a switching gear at the time of the rewinding operation. CONSTITUTION:When the rewinding operation is performed, a sliding member 8 is displaced in the direction A against the energizing force of a spring 13 and the oblique section 22 of the member 8 presses a control pin 21 installed to a control member 14. As a result, the member 14 is displaced in the direction C to a nonoperable position against the energizing force of a spring 19. When a motor is driven in the opposite direction in such state, a driving gear 1 is rotationally driven clockwise. When the gear 1 is rotated clockwise, a revolving member 4 receives a clockwise rotating force and is displaced in the clockwise direction. Since control member 14 is displaced in the direction C, the switching gear 6 on the member 4 is not engaged with the gear 20 for controlling switching on the member 14. Therefore, the reproducing direction switching operation is never performed.</p> |
