PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in workability for mounting/demounting a fuel tank by dividing the fuel tank into right-hand and left-hand tank members to be maintained on a pair of upper and lower frame members so that each tank member can be mounted/demounted in the direction lateral to a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:A main tank is formed in two divided tank members a1, a2 for holding, therebetween, a frame member consisting of a main pipe 2 and a down tube 3. Each coupling band 6 is wound around the periphery of the intermediate portion of each of tank members a1, a2 respectively and tank member a1, a2 are coupled to each other by coupling together respective upper ends and the lower ends of these coupling bands 6 individually via a bolt 8 and via coupling metals 9 and a coupling piece 10 welded on the periphery of the down tube 3 respectively. Accordingly, each tank member can be easily mounted and demounted without its interence with a handle lever and/or driver's seat, thus the tank can be tightly fixed to the frame, resulting in good mounting/ demounting workability. |
