The invention relates to a device making it possible to provide an electrical top-up or emergency system for a heating installation using a heat pump. This device consists of a sleeve 21 creating an electrical discontinuity, connectors 41 connected by wires 16 to a very low-voltage emergency electrical supply 17 and allowing the tubes 13 forming a condenser to be used as top-up or emergency electrical resistors or for temporary use in electrical heating mode without the other elements of the refrigerating circuit: expander 14, evaporator 15, compressor 11 and connection tube 12.
