<p>Coolent is passed through the source of heat which has an output decreasing with time, then to a steam generator. The steam produced is passed to an air cooled condenser and the condensate is returned to the steam generator. The novel feature of the proposal is the addition of an auxiliary coolant whose flow-rate is gradually decreased in line with the decreasing heat output of the source. The auxiliary coolant flow is stopped when the heat output of the source is reduced to the capacity of the air cooled condenser.</p> |
