PURPOSE:To make a route history storing area in transmitting data smaller by storing node identifying numbers of different prime numbers given to each node in each node and finding the product of the stored node identifying numbers and a transmission data route history so as to find a new transmission data route history. CONSTITUTION:A node identifying number storing means 6 stores a node identifying number which is a prime number different from the node identifying numbers of any other nodes in this computer network. A multiplication processing means 7 finds the product of the transmission data route history obtained by referring to the transmission data history storing area of the transmission data transmitted to a communication controller 3 from another communication controller 1 through a data communication line 9 through a transmission data route history fetching means 4 and a node identifying number fetched from the node identifying number storing means 6 and writes the product in the transmission data route storing area of the said transmission data by means of a transmission data route history writing means 5. The transmission data history storing area thus used is smaller than that used by the conventional system.
