[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XI] In a dome light for use inside a vehicle, a metal reflector 17 is formed integrally with a sleeve 21 which is slotted at 22 to receive the pins 34 on the cap 33 of an electric light bulb 32. The reflector is secured in position by means of a wood screw 30 and a removable binding post 31 which projects into a recess 10a in a wooden roof member 10 and screws into a threaded metal plate 44 which is secured to the member 10 by means of nails or tacks and is adapted to retain a ground wire 43 in contact with the reflector. The central contact 35 of the bulb 32 engages a spring-like tongue 41 on a contact plate 40 which is secured to the member 10 by screws 38, 39, the screw 39 also serving to secure the lead-in wire 42 in contact with the plate 40. |
