The signal transmission circuit has an auxiliary line capacitively coupled to a transmission line to reduce stray capacitance. The transmission line (TL) is formed on a semiconductor integrated circuit chip. The auxiliary line (AL) is supplied with a second input signal which changes in the same direction as the first signal input but at a greater rate of change. There is a signal input pad (IT) for the input signal, and a resistor coupled between the pad and transmission line, with a wave shaper (12) connected to the junction between the transmission line input end and resistor, and at the input end of the auxiliary line. |
