PURPOSE: To crystallize crystals in the form of beads each having a large diameter by passing a stream of a supersaturated solution through a distributor that is arranged below a bed of crystals and maintained at a temp. at which the concn. of the supersaturated solution does not exceed the concn. corresponding to saturation, to form a fluidized bed of crystals. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises: using a bed 14 of crystals, through which a stream of a supersaturated solution with a substance (such as NaCl) to be crystallized in a liquid solvent can be passed; and passing the superheated solution stream that is supplied via a tube 4, through a distributor 12 that is arranged below the bed 14 and maintained at a temp. at which the concn. of the supersaturated solution does not exceed the concn. corresponding to saturation, to form a fluidized bed of crystals. As a result, the crystallization of crystals in the form of beads each having a large diameter is performed and also, fine powder formation is reduced. |
