PURPOSE:To prevent bleach fogging, desilvering defect and defective recoloration by incorporating the ferric complex salt of a specific compd. as a bleaching agent and compds. into the bleaching bath. CONSTITUTION:The ferric complex salt of the compd. expressed by formula I as the bleaching agent and the compds. expressed by formulas II to IV, etc., are incorporated into the bleaching bath. In formula I, A1 to A4 denote -CH2OH, -COOM, etc.; M, M1, M2 respectively denote a hydrogen atom, sodium atom, etc.; X denotes 3 to 6C alkyl group. In formula II, X1 to X4 respectively denote a hydrogen atom or alkyl group which may bond to each other; Z denotes an alkyl group; in formula III, x denotes 1 to 5 integer; y denotes 2 to 8 integer; M denotes a sodium atom, potassium atom, etc.; in formula IV, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, carbamoyl group, etc.; R2 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; l denotes 0 or 1. The bleach fogging, desilvering defect and recoloration defect are prevented in this way. |
