PURPOSE:To simplify the internal structure of a magnetic head by protruding the rear edge part of a printed board to the outside of a magnetic core via a cut part formed at the wall part of the magnetic core set opposite to a magneto-resistance MR head. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core 10 containing an MR head 12 and a printed board 13 is put into a holding case 18. Then the case 18 is put into a shielding case 20 via an earth plate 19. Thus the board 13 is included in the core 10 and the board 13 is connected to the head 12. In addition, a cut part is prepared at a wall part 10a which is not wound by a magnetic saturation coil 17. Then the rear end part of the board 13 is protruded to the back side of the core 10 via the part 15. Thus it is not required to apply the connection to the head 12 via a lead wire and therefore the internal structure of a magnetic head is simplified. In addition, the connection is facilitated between the board 13 and the head 12 since the board 13 has no interference with the coil 17. |
