PURPOSE: To provide a material containing a filler, which has high temperature oil resistance and has improved modulus and tensile strength by using ethylene propyrene EP rubber compound which is very small diameter aluminium silicate clay where a filler is burnt as a thermosetting rubber insulating sheathing. CONSTITUTION: This material contains a copolymer of ethylene and propyrene or contains ethylene, propyrene or the other polymerizing matter, or contains a polymer compound containing both. A filler in the compound has the mean particle diameter less than about 1μ, at least, about 80wt.% particles have a size smaller than about 2μ, and about 10wt.% particles is burnt aluminium silicate pulverized to 0.5μor less. Thus, the electric wire secondary finished by these insulating compositions can exhibit very desirable and unexpected resistance in modulus tensile strength and hardness which can not be obtained in the prior art.
