The entertainment ride may consist of a swing. It swings to and fro from the axis of rotation of a frame and has at least one associated gondola (22,24) which can move relative to the swing body (10) and which is designed to hold the passengers. The gondola or gondolas pref. rotate about axes running at right angles to the bottom of the swing body and/or raidlaly to the axis of rotation. ADVANTAGE -USE/ADVANTAGE - The passengers are not only moved to and fro but are also turned round as the swing moves.
