PURPOSE:To permit to softly start an electric discharge lamp by having a DC control winding which allows saturation timing controllable DC supply electricity to pass through each of saturable current transformers. CONSTITUTION:The title system has paired saturable current transformers 41, 42 which are respectively installed so as to correspond to a switching device 34 and give feedback signals. The first saturable current transformer 41 has a primary winding 44 and a secondary winding 45 wound respectively round a circular ring. like iron core 43, while also the second saturable current transformer 42 has likewise a primary winding 47 and a secondary winding 48 wound respectively round a circular ring-like iron core 46, and furthermore a DC control winding 49 is wound round both the iron core 43 of the first saturable current transformer 41 and the iron core 46 of the second saturable current transformer 42. Thence an electric current is supplied to the DC control winding 49 for varying the saturation time of each of the saturable current transformers 41, 42. This makes it possible to simply control electricity being supplied to an electric discharge lamp, permitting to softly start the electric discharge lamp. |
