PURPOSE:To generate a general purpose program based on an example which is visually displayed by generating input data having a specified example value and giving an example setting instruction displayed as an icon and a data operation instruction. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a program calculating the absolute value of the difference of two numerics, a first partial program sets '5' and '3' by the example setting instruction and displays them in a window screen which is called a scene corresponding to the first partial program as the icon, for example. Then, 5>3 is confirmed by a comparison instruction being one of the data operation instruction. On the other hand, a second partial program sets '2' and '6' by the example setting instruction and displays them in the scene corresponding to the second partial program as the icon, for example. Then, 2<6 is confirmed by the comparison instruction and a result icon '4' is obtained by a subtraction instruction. Thus, the general purpose program can be obtained based on the example.
