PURPOSE:To relieve the defects of a neuron learning circuit without deteriorating the overall degree of integration of a semiconductor integrated circuit device by separating the neuron learning circuit from a neuro network to use it in common and attaining such a constitution where the detects can be relieved for the neuron learning circuit. CONSTITUTION:A learning circuit system 999 is separated from each neuron 1 and used in common among the neurons 1, and a signal system 998 is neces sary for learning. In a neuro network enclosed by a broken line, the learning is performed normally as long as the system 999 is normal even when a defect is generated. Then a defective neuron is excluded. Since the defect of the learn ing system is relieved in advance, an erroneous learning signal is never transmit ted to the neuro network. The learning is carried out as follows. That is, the synapse weight value of the neuron of an Lm layer is fetched to the system 999 and then written into the original synapse after the weight value is changed. This operation is applied to each neuron of an Lm layer. The same process is carried out to the next Ln layer. |
