The invention relates to a tubular conveyor of which the drive discs mounted on a chain with round links are constituted and mounted on the chain with round links so that the transporting section of the transporter tube is largely closed by the drive discs and so that, even during the transportation of readily flowing products or even fluid products, no exaggerated leakage of product takes place in the positions of connection between the drive discs and the chain with round links. The drive discs comprise pocket-shaped recesses for the chain with round links. Their connection with the chain is obtained by means of connection elements 12 which close pocket-shaped recesses 13 of the drive discs 11. <IMAGE>
