PURPOSE:To enable obtaining the survival rate of dielectric breakdown withstand voltage (BDV) with high accuracy by equivalently converting a load change an a reactive power (VAR) change into a stop-start frequency and applying it. CONSTITUTION:A stop-start frequency, a load change frequency, a VAR change frequency are respectively converted into temperature rise values. Respective temperature rise values obtained are converted into strain by the use of strain values obtained experimentally relative to the kind of insulator and the length of winding. Then, when the strain is obtained, it is applied to the flexural fatigue curve of insulator so that the strain can be expressed numerically into the degree of flexural fatigue of insulator. The flexural fatigue curve of insulator can be obtained when flexural fatigue is experimentally applied according to the kind of insulator like strain and the frequency until destruction is measured. |
