LIGHT PERVIOUS RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a light pervious recording material made possible in printing excellent in abrasion resistance and antistaining properties by providing an ink receiving layer to at least one surface of a transparent base film and constituting said ink receiving layer of a resin layer having a large number of fine cracks. CONSTITUTION:A light pervious recording material is constituted by forming an ink receiving layer composed of a transparent resin and having a large number of fine cracks to at least one surface of a base film 1 having transparency. When printing is performed from an ink ribbon 4 by the head 3 of an impact printer, the ink of the ink ribbon 4 is transferred to the ink receiving layer 2 to be immediately absorbed by the ink receiving layer 2 and a printing image excellent in abrasion resistance and antistaining properties is formed. The structure of the ink receiving layer 2 is in a state wherein the ink receiving layer 2 is divided innumerably by innumerable cracks 6 generated longitudinally and laterally and the ink is absorbed through the cracks 6 and the amount of the transferred liquid ink present on the surface of the ink receiving layer is reduced and excellent abrasion resistance is shown.
