<p>An erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) device comprises an insulation board having a chip mounting portion and conductive interconnecting patterns, one end of each of the patterns bein adjacent to the chip mounting, an EPROM chip mounted on the mounting portion having several pad electrodes on its top surface, the pad electrodes being connected to one end of each of the patterns, a UV ray transmitting hollow cap mounted on the insulating board and covering the chip and connections, and a UV ray transmitting resin filling at least that space between an upper surface of the EPROM chip and an upper wall of the hollow cap. The whole space within the hollow cap is filled with the UV ray transmitting resin.</p> |
