PURPOSE:To prepare an arom. polyetherketone resin compsn. excellent in the mechanical properties at a high temp. by compounding an arom. polyetherketone with a polyetherimide in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:95-60wt.% arom. polyetherketone having the repeating units of formula I is compounded with 5-40wt.% polyetherimide having the repeating units of formula II.
