PURPOSE: To solve problem about the appearance of a cable from core wire having a large section area by constructing a storing device to store the twine continuously so that the spacing between its termination and the second twining point is even number times as large, at least twice, as the storage length. CONSTITUTION: A twining device 54 is composed of one or two sets of tightening jaws or tightening tongue transporting devices 55 and 56, and continued to a covering device 57, a stationary transport device 58 fixed in the form of an approx. endless transport device is installed. The transport device 58 forms at the same time, a second twining point of the twining device, and the wavy shape of a twined strand 59 is nullified by selecting the spacing of at least 2n×1sp (n is integer and lsp is storage length). That is, wavy shape will not be generated even though the section area is large. Then the twined object equipped with inside exterior fitting is wound on a takeup drum 61 through a direction change roll 60. This permits eliminating the demerit with poor appearance of the cable from the core wire having a large section area.
