PRODUCTION OF ALUMINUM NITRIDE POWDER AND ALUMINUM NITRIDE SINTERED BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain high purity fine AlN powder having high sinterability at a low cost by calcining a mixture of an Al-contg. compd. with aminoguanidine in a nitrogen-contg. nonoxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of an Al-contg. compd. with aminoguanidine is calcined in a nitrogen-contg. nonoxidizing atmosphere to obtain desired AlN powder. An AlN sintered body is simply obtd. at a low cost by sintering a molded body of the mixture in a nitrogen-contg. nonoxidizing atmosphere. The mixture used may be prepd. by uniformly mixing a water soluble Al-contg. compd. with aminoguanidine in the form of an aq. soln. and removing the water. The Al-contg. compd. may be a polynuclear aluminum complex or aluminum alkoxide etc.
