There are disclosed compounds having the formula where X is hydrogen, loweralkyl, loweralkoxy, halogen or trifluoromethyl, and R when present is hydrogen, loweralkyl, allyl, arylloweralkyl, - @ - Cl or - @ - NH - R, wherein R1 is loweralkyl, n being 2, 3 or 4 and R2 and R3 being independently loweralkyl, or the group taken as a whole constituting which compounds are useful as analgesic agents and also for the treatment of various memory dysfunctions characterized by a decreased cholinergic function such as Alzheimer's disease.
