PURPOSE:To reduce developing manhour and to improve the quality of a system by unitary managing program information in a program management file and supporting the development, management and maintenance of a program. CONSTITUTION:A relational type data base being the program management file 1 registering program information is provided. Respective tools 4-6 access a driver 8. Thus, information on a source unit, a compile unit and a load module can be registered in the program management file 1 and they can be read out. Thus, the program can easily and efficiently be developed since all the programs can unitary be managed. Furthermore, the program can speedily and accurately be developed in large and medium scale systems, and developing manhour can be reduced, whereby the high reliable system can be constructed.
