The present invention relates to a method of treating an inflammatory condition, for example, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis, and to pharmaceutical compositions suitable for use in such a method. The pharmaceutical compositions of the invention include as an active ingredient at least one N-[(9H-fluoren-9-ylmethoxy)carbonyl]-amino acid, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
