COMPOSTING PROCESS STABILIZED BY WORMS FOR RENDERING FULLY HARMLESS DANGEROUS ORGANIC FOOD-INDUSTRIAL AND/OR AGRICULTURAL WASTE PRODUCTS

Hazardous organic waste derived from food and/or agricultural industries is recycled by semistabilising-composting processes. At the outset the relative proportions of C, N and P in the waste materials and their utility for microbial culturing is established and a suitable mix is prepd. Note is taken simultaneously of what is the ratio of easily accessible organic carbon to that obtainable with difficulty and of extant moisture. - The mix is stacked, composted and aerated. When composting is concluded (one or several) species of worms are introduced. These and their progeny complete the process of composting. This renders wastes completely harmless by converting them to humus. On conclusion the worm-compost is extractable from the upper layers of the stack.
