<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate problems in lamp entry by fitting connection pieces for connecting external leads installed on feeder terminals to fitted grooves in the outside bottom faces of a base shell to joint the feeder terminals with the base shell in such a manner that fixed pieces installed on the feeder terminals are bent to clasp the outer periphery face of the opening portion on the opposite outside bottom faces of the base shell. CONSTITUTION:Feeder terminals (B) are inserted into the fitted grooves 1 of a base shell (A), and fixed pieces 7 are bent to the inside of the opening portion 1c of the base shell (A) to clasp the outer periphery portion of the base shell (A) with semi-cylindrical feeder portions 5 and the fixed pieces 7. The feeder terminals (B) are therefore fixed to the base shell (A) in both axial and peripheral directions. It is thus possible to obtain a lamp base which allows for work precision in joining the base shell (A) with the feeder terminal (B), reduces in fraction defective, has no problem in lamp entry even if the fixed pieces 7 are incomplete in bending, and still can be molded with a metal mold detachable in an axial direction only without necessity of complicated processes for molding the base shell (A).</p> |
