Strip winder/unwinder device, especially for a smooth strip of paper for graphical recordings, including two rollers, with horizontal axes, carried by a support frame and from which the strip is respectively unwound and wound, the strip being stretched between these rollers, so as to allow verification of the graphical data inscribed on this strip or other ones. According to the invention, this device is characterised in that the rollers (41) from which and onto which the strip (28) is respectively unwound and wound, each include a horizontal shaft (19) supporting tapered (conical) sleeves (26) on the outer surface of which the ends of a tube (27) supporting the strip bear, the strip, moving from one roller to the other, being held between the support frame and a folding frame applied to the latter, pivoting guides suitable for resting on the tapered sleeves on either side of the strip being mounted so as to tilt in planes parallel to the direction of movement of the strip, so as to continually align one roller with the other, means being furthermore provided on the support frame for the driving of the shafts of the rollers, comprising at least one lever (crank) for controlling a set of drive gears. <IMAGE>
