<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a head speed display machine which judges whether a golf swing posture is satisfactory or not and becomes aid for improving it by an arithmetic means for estimating a head speed by using a description of a correlation of a load measured value at the time of impact and the head speed from an output of a load measuring base in the impact time point detected by a head detector, and a display device. CONSTITUTION:The instant a club head impacts a ball on a tee, a head detector 2 detects passing of the head and detects an impact time point. The load of a person to be tested in this case is derived by totaling measured outputs of the respective load calls 12-15 provided on a load measuring base 1. The operation can be executed easily by an arithmetic processing means 31 of an arithmetic means 3. The arithmetic means is provided with a storage means 33, as well, and a correlation expression or a correlation table for describing a correlation of a load measured value and a head speed is recorded therein, therefore, the arithmetic processing means selects and reads out the expression or the table conforming to data of the kind of a club, etc., given specially from therein, applies a load at the time of impact thereto and estimates the head speed. The result of estimation of thee head speed is displayed on a two-dimensional display device 4 so as to be easily understandable.</p> |
