The direction of effect of the carrier projectile with its warhead is guided by a zone tube or other means up to a time point immediately before initiation of the explosive charge, and is centred around the carrier projectile longitudinaly axis. When that time point is reached, in accordance with zone tube measurements, it is angled outwards with its direction of effect towards the target. Immediately thereafter, the explosive charge is initiated. The warhead has a number of suspension points distributed around its periphery, which can be eliminated by a measure initiated by the zone tube. Between the warhead and a counterpiece is at least one gas-producing pyrotechnic charge, which likewise can be initiated by the zone tube in order to provide the warhead with its direction of rotation. This results in the warhead being angled outwards with its direction of effect towards the target, dependent upon which side of it the carrier projectile is passing.
|
