An emulsion for the decontamination of ABC contaminated equipment is produced from a water and an organic phase both fed continuously and mixed to form an emulsion only on demand at the spray nozzle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Decontamination of land vehicles, aircraft and personal equipment. The tube length to the gun allows more time for materials to dissolve in the water phase and less power and smaller tubes are required for the relatively low viscosity materials. Lack of mechanical stress on the prod. in the tubing gives more stable emulsions, lower service needs, reliability, precision mixt. and lower costs.
