<p>PURPOSE:To enable highly-precise detection of an environmental condition by changing a physical characteristic of a second element by burning it off by a laser so that out put signals of a first element and the second element be in a prescribed relationship. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus has a means of setting an environmental condition is a prescribed state. A first element is put under the prescribed environmental condition thus set and is incorporated in a measuring circuit 212 by a detecting means through a switching circuit, and output signal is detected. Next, a second element showing a smaller change in a physical characteristic for a change in the environmental condition is put under the same environmental condition and incorporated in the measuring circuit by the detecting means through the switching circuit, and a detection signal thereof is detected. Subsequently, the physical charac teristic of the second element is changed by burning it off by a laser 205 so that two output signals are put in a prescribed relationship by using a trimming device 220. According to this constitution, the characteristic of the second element is fixed after trimming and free from deterioration due to a change with time. Accordingly, the environmental condition can be detected highly precisely.</p> |
