PURPOSE:To accurately copy in a desired position by moving an image back and forth on sheet paper by obtaining a specified timing to feed a recording medium with the time when an optical system starts to travel from a stopped position as a reference and controlling the timing of feeding the recording medium with a recording medium feeding means. CONSTITUTION:A motor driver 33 is given control signal by CPU30, the optical system 13 is traveled by an optical motor 34 from a home position to a direction of an arrow A1, the time required for it to reach a scanning start position is measured based on changeover signal of home position switch 131 and a starting position switch 132, and the data is stored in RAM32. Starting timing of a resist roll 23 is calculated based on the data stored in the RAM32 and data of copying magnification ratio etc., inputted from a control part 35, and with this timing driving of the resist roll 23 is controlled. Thus, the paper feeding timing can be accurately controlled, and an original image is copied to the desired position of the paper. |
