PURPOSE:To reduce a shock added to a chest by making the tensileness of a seat belt releasable temporarily by means of a belt guide member for moving in a load direction of the seat belt at engagement between an engaging member and an engagingly locked member when a large load acts on the seat belt due to collision or the like. CONSTITUTION:A belt guide member 19, which guides a seat belt 13 delivered out of a winding drum 15 in the belt attaching direction, is installed on the side of a first take-up roller 9 additionally provided with an emergency locking device 17, among the first and second take-up rollers 9, 11 for hip and shoulder uses being set up in an automobile door 5. This belt guide member 19 consists of a guide ring 35 for guiding the seat belt 13 and an arm 39 rotatably attached to an engaging member 37 where this guide ring 35 is pivotally attached, while this arm 39 is energized clockwise by a spring 41. The engaging member 37 is formed by installing a hook part 43 being engaged with and disengaged from an engagingly locking member 47 on a side 1, at the tip and it is pivotally installed in the door 5. |
