HIGH CONCENTRATION AQUEOUS POLYMER SMALL CELL DISPERSION

PURPOSE:To provide a high concentration aqueous small cell dispersion having excellent long-term stability and the moisture-retaining and damage-preventing properties of hair by containing polymer small cells prepared by polymerizing specific surfactant monomer small cells and a nonionic polymer dispersing agent. CONSTITUTION:The dispersion of a surfactant of the formula (R1 is 8-32C alkyl or alkylaryl; R2 is 2-3C alkylene; n is 0-5; R3 is 1-4C alkyl, etc.; A is an organic acid having a polymerizable group) is melted at >=50 deg.C and subsequently mixed with preliminarily heated water to prepare an aqueous dispersion, which is mixed with (B) a nonionic polymer dispersing agent as a polymerization initiator (e.g. polyvinyl alcohol) and polymerized at 60-90 deg.C for 5-10 hours to provide the objective high concentration aqueous polymer small cell dispersion.
