PURPOSE: To surely prevent any arc from occurring by setting up both first and second bus bars on a nonconductive base body at an interval, connecting an interval between both these bus bars by means of a conductive heating member, and installing a means for detecting voltage of this heating member, in an intermediate position of both the bus bars. CONSTITUTION: A transparent body (windshield) 10 is comprised of an outer glass spline 12, a plastic inner layer 14 and an inner glass spline 16, and in the case where a heating structure is installed, an electroconductive coating 18 is set up on an inner surface 20 of the outer glass spline 12. In addition, a bottom bus bar 22 and a top bus bar 2A are set up on the glass spline 12, and connected to the electroconductive coating 18. A pair of lead wires 28, 30 are equipped in this top bus bar 24, and these lead wires 28 and 30 are comprised of two conductive strips 32 and 34 extending in the opposite direction with each other from a terminal area portion 36 along a bottom edge of the windshield 10 and two conductive side parts 38 and 40. Then a charge detector 46 for monitoring the coating voltage is installed in space between both the bus bars 22 and 24. |
