<p>PURPOSE:To allow a lap part of two LED chips to emit a light to prevent the occurrence of a white stripe by a method wherein a plurality of LED chips juxtaposed at right angles to a recording medium travel direction are made of chips having the lap part in a chip juxtaposition direction, and a gap is formed between adjacent two chips out of these chips. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of LED chips 12 juxtaposed at right angles to a recording paper travel direction are mounted on a substrate 11. These LED chips 12 are made of triangle chips in a plane view having lap parts 13 in a chip juxtaposition direction. A gap G is provided in the recording paper travel direction between adjacent two chips out of these LED chips 12. In an LED recording head constructed as the above, if the respective light emitting patterns have a dispersion in light emitting amount or a chip juxtaposition accuracy is poor, the light emission of the lap parts 13 of the adjacent two LED chips 12 allows the two light emitting parts to be formed along the recording paper travel direction.</p> |
