PURPOSE:To obtain output torque with fidelity to command output torque corresponding to a current command value by calculating an estimated value of a circulating current, circulated in a rotor, being based on the current command value while driving electrifying means being based on the current command value and the estimated value of the circulating current. CONSTITUTION:When a circulating current, flowing in field windings 20, 21, is generated, electrifying means 22, 23 are controlled in a manner wherein a current, in which a current two times a current corresponding to this circulating current and a current corresponding to a current command value Ibar are added, flows in a rotor 19. Accordingly, since a current, in which the current corresponding to the circulating current flowing in the field windings 20, 21 and the current corresponding to the current command value Ibar are added, flows in the field windings 20, 21, residual torque, generated in the rotor 19, can be negated by the circulating current. In this way, output torque faithful to command output torque corresponding to the current command value Ibar can be obtained in the rotor 19. |
