<p>PURPOSE:To ensure precision of a rear wheel steering through the firm support of a shaft member, by securing a support member, whereto the shaft member of a rear wheel steering member is rotatably secured, to a low arm bracket for rear wheels of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A crank part 13 is formed on the shaft member 12 of a rear wheel steering mechanism, and tie rods 24 for steering rear wheels are coupled to a joint member 21 loosely engaged with a crank pin 14 of the crank part. The shaft member 12 is rotatably supported by a shaft holder 17 through the medium of a bearing, and the shaft holder 17 is supported within a shaft collar 16 through the medium of a rubber bush. The shaft collar 16 is integrally secured to a low arm bracket 15 for a rear wheel secured to the center of the lower part of a rear cross member 20 of a can body in a manner to be embraced by the bracket. Since the rigidity of the bracket 15 is high, the shaft member 12 is firmly supported, and this causes ensuring of the precision of the rear wheel steering.</p> |
