PURPOSE:To rapidly perform processing in the case of recovering from abnormality at low cost by providing an abnormal time processing selection means for selecting specified processing for abnormal time when the abnormality occurs at the time of or after forming a latent image and a recovery selection means for selecting the case of starting the processing in the case of recovery in accordance with the selected processing for abnormal time. CONSTITUTION:When an abnormality signal 9 is inputted from each sensor, the abnormal time processing selection means 10 stores the kind of the abnormality signal 9 and the present number of latent images and, thereafter, stops the output of a video signal (VD0) 3 so as to cause an image forming device 2 not to perform the processing until the abnormality signal 9 recovers to normal. The recovery selection means 11 is provided to decide what number of latent image the processing is started from and whether the latent images formed hitherto are eliminated according to stored information in the case that the abnormality signal 9 from each sensor becomes off or normal and give instruction to the image forming device 2. The device 2 performs the processing for forming the image according to the instruction. Thus, the processing time in the case of recovering from the abnormality is shortened, and the discharged toner box of small capacity is used because useless discharged toner is reduced. |
