Two shafts (1, 2) have two inter-engaging metallic coupling sleeves (8a, 8b) fixedly arranged via respective resilient intermediate layers (9a, 9b) in respective recesses (16a, 16b) at the ends of the shafts (1, 2). A ceramic centring bush (5) surrounding the coupling sleeves (8a, 8b) is fixed to the two shafts (1, 2) by means of a shrink fit. This allows shafts formed of different materials (e.g. ceramic and metal) to be connected during assembly, so that a one-piece housing may be used. <IMAGE> |
