PURPOSE:To prevent trouble of generating image loss or missing page in a link tray mode by selecting a mode waiting the instructions from an image processing part to reopen image forming operation by an image forming part without automatically reopening image-forming operation by the image-forming part even when an error is released. CONSTITUTION:An image-forming system B sends out various orders related to the formation of an image to an image-forming part D from an image- processing part C receiving character data or image data from a host system A to form image data and the image-forming part D stores the specific orders among various orders in its own buffer F and executes the specific orders one after another to form an image. A reopening selection means G selecting the reopening of the execution of the unexecuted order stored in the buffer F by the image-forming part D immediately after the release of an error or standby state not executing the unexecuted order until the reception of the reopening instruction from the image-processing part C when an error is generated in the image-forming part D or various additional apparatuses E is provided to the image-processing part C. |
