The invention relates to a gluing and folding device giving the product its originality and its method of use for containing packets of cigarettes in particular. It is constituted by a sheet of cardboard or plastic having a folding system specific to this box, a special form of folding, a single strip of gluing (2) and a folding section for the bottom of the packet (3).
