PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of transfer blur caused by the errors of mechanical accuracy of respective parts by detecting the linear velocity of a recording paper and adjusting the pulse width of a stepping motor for driving a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A resist sensor 25 which is turned on at the time of detecting the passage of the recording paper is arranged on the front side of a resist roller pair 21 which is arranged at an image tip adjusting position(resist position), and a transfer sensor 26 which detects the passage of the leading edge of the recording paper is arranged on the ejection side of a transfer charger 8. The linear velocity of the recording paper is calculated based on a fixed distance l between the sensors and an actual time required for carrying the recording paper as long as the fixed distance, and the driving pulse of the stepping motor for driving the photosensitive belt 2 is changed based on the linear velocity of the recording paper so as to make the linear velocity of the photosensitive belt 2 coincide with that of a carrying mechanism. Thus, the linear velocity of the photosensitive body and that of the recording paper are made to coincide accurately and the blur of a transferred image is prevented from occurring without receiving the effect of the errors of the accuracy of the mechanical parts. |
