[Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXV] A detachable rotary switch handle 1 of moulded insulating material, having one end pointed as a position indicator, is secured to a switch shaft 6 by a transverse movement. Secured in a two chambered recess 2 in the handle by a screw 4 is a metal plate 3 having a keyhole slot 5, a round portion of which allows the shaft end to enter, while the parallel sides engage a flattened portion 7 of the shaft which is secured in place by leaf springs 9 when the handle is moved downwards relative to the shaft. |
