PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency and to eliminate a defect in sticking a polarizing plate by providing cloth, impregnated with an organic solvent, and a metallic cutting blade which contact the surface of a liquid crystal panel at specific angles with specific pressure in the path where the liquid crystal display panel in the middle of connection is conveyed. CONSTITUTION:A wiping mechanism part A holds the cloth body, which is impregnated with the organic solvent 5 supplied from a pipe 5', on a conveyor belt 1 by a holder 4 at the specific angle theta to its conveyance surface, and the cloth body 3 is energized by a cylinder device 6 in the direction of the conveyor belt 1. While the liquid crystal display panel 2 is conveyed, the cloth body 3 is pressed against its surface with the specific pressure, thereby wiping dirt off the surface. A grinding mechanism part B holds the metallic cutting edge 7 by a cylinder device 8 at the specific angle theta' to the surface of the liquid crystal panel 2 so that the blade is pressed against the surface. Consequently, the operation efficiency is improved and no deficiency in wiping is caused unlike visual operation, so the defect in sticking a deflection plate is eliminated. |
