<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the constraint of the kind of identification allowable parts and interference between an industrial robot and an image sensing section by applying a light-transmissive plate at a preset position on a parts carrying truck and arranging a lighting device above the plate and an image sensing means below, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a number of parts are put into the bowl 1a of a circulation-type bowl feeder 1 for movement, the parts are separated by a parts carrying truck 1b and carried. The parts are fed onto the truck 1b in sequence and arrives on a light-transmissive plate 1c. In such a state, as the parts are lit from the upper side by a lighting device 2, transmissive light showing the outline of the parts is received by an image sensing section 3a to allow recognition of the kind and position of the parts located on the plate 1c. On this account, by informing an industrial robot 4 of the parts position to be supplied to a conveyor line 5, the robot 4 is activated and necessary parts are clamped and supplied to the line 5, so that assembling work can be done.</p> |
