PRODUCTION OF LEAD-CONTAINING COMPLEX PEROVSKITE CERAMICS

PURPOSE:To obtain ceramics having high deflective strength by mixing powdery starting materials for a lead-contg. complex perovskite material with an Si- contg. soln. and a dispersion liq. compatible with the soln. and firing the resulting mixture while leaving the Si. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amt. of an Si-contg. soln. and a dispersion liq. compatible with the soln. are added to powdery starting materials for a lead- contg. complex perovskite material and they are mixed. The resulting mixture is dried, calcined and fired while leaving the Si to obtain ceramics having high deflective strength and capable of giving a laminated chip capacitor which facilitates flat mounting and does not crack even when a substrate warps at the time of soldering.
